Where are we?

Wildlife & Escape houseboats are moored at the perfect location to offer two options for you to explore while holiday aboard either boat.Cruise 35 river kilometres downstream to the nearest township Renmark to be wined & dined in a selection of eateries & cafes. Close precinct shopping offering lovely gift & clothing stores for you to browse.This section of the Murray definitely experiences the hustle & bustle of river life.Travel upstream and you can escape to your own part of paradise to include passing through the Lock 6 passage to the SA/VIC border and beyond.

By car travel approx 15kms along the Murtho road from the township of Paringa South Australia to our property where the houseboats are privately moored.

For the water sports enthusiasts,many creeks & backwaters allow the opportunity for canoeists & dinghies to explore. Birdlife, wildlife & great fishing spots are plentiful in these up river waterways.

The two sandbars and great stretches of river right here in our backyard are a playground for the waterholics. An ultimate location for the speedboat owners to holiday with family & friends spending time skiing, barefooting, "new craze" surfing, kneeboarding & the kids tubing in quiet waters.

Right in our backyard and close proximity are major attractions including Headings Cliffs and lookout tower, Chowilla Creek Biosphere and the newly constructed weir, Lock 6 passage and the unique trendy popular 'place to be' Wilkadene Brewery.

Canoeists and Dinghy Derby enthusiasts have easy access to many favourite creeks and waterways.

Fishermen, birdwatchers, bush walkers and the extreme water sports people are in the ultimate place.

Popular hotspot with the locals and holidaymakers is Gordons Sandbar which is adjacent to the mooring property. This is the ideal sandy location to enjoy watersports and relax with the cliffs as a magnificent backdrop to your holiday stay.
